There is only one sleeve variation for the first issue
Tri release. It is worth noting that this particular issue is the only EP to
feature any colour on the rear of the sleeve!
Unlike the Tri centre issue the RCA Logo release had no
red lettering on the rear sleeve. it was also only laminated on the front.
The Tri centre variation had both front and fully laminated variations.
As with the RCA Logo variation this RCA Victor release
had a laminated front only. It contained the Made In England bottom left,
Clarifoil legend, bottom centre, and printing date, bottom right.
This issue was almost identical to the RCA logo release,
the only difference being that the publisher's date bottom left had now been
omitted. It is worth noting that this sleeve appeared on both late RCA
Victor pressings and early orange label knockout centre variations.
This was the last sleeve variation that appeared with the
solid orange label. gone were the top and bottom foldovers, also gone were
all the details normally found at the bottom of the rear sleeve.

There was not a lot of point of purchasing this EP when
it surfaced in the February of 1959, as all the songs included had been
previously released. Its only saving glory for the collector is that it can
boast the title of being the only EP that had any colour on the rear of the
sleeve, and even that claim could only apply to the first Tri centre
pressing. Even so to only pay around £30 for an excellent condition copy,
the scarcer releases for this issue are most definitely the RCA Victor and
Solid orange label pressings they can range from £40-50.
